CEU and CEH Course Approvals
FYZICAL Education teaches over 50 courses per year throughout the USA. The main goal of these courses is to provide expert information for our members to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. We also strive to have as much of this education approved for Continuing Education credit and continuing competency where possible.
To provide and ensure recognition in as many states as possible, the following plan has been put in place for 2020.
- FYZICAL Education will apply to have each course approved for CEUs/CEHs by the appropriate state body where possible. This normally is the state APTA or state board. In some states the Board contracts out this to private accreditation companies. (CA Acend, CEULocker CO)
- FYZICAL Education will have each course topic accredited through CE Broker in Florida for the 2020 calendar year.
- It is our understanding that 20 other states recognize the Florida CE Broker accreditation. These are: AZ, DC, DE, GA, HI, ID, KY, MO, MI, MO, MT, NC, ND, OR, PA, RI, SC, UT, VT, VA, WI, WY. Each state will have different procedures for the course participant to have these Florida CE Broker (FAPTA) approved courses recognized.
- When a course is held in a state not referenced above (2,3), FYZICAL Education will apply to the individual state accrediting agency for approval. Some of these include; California, Colorado, and Nevada. However, there are also some states that recognize other state’s approval.
When a participant takes a course out of state, it is their reasonability to check their home state’s recognition policy.
FYZICAL Education continues to provide clinically relevant continuing education material in both online and live course formats. It is our goal is to provide expert information. We will apply to have as much of this material approved for accreditation in as many states as possible.
