Instruction in pelvic floor muscle function, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, and pelvic floor disorders will provide the clinician with skills for immediate clinical application and build the base for future courses. Clinicians will develop practical knowledge and skill in the treatment of bladder control problems, female pelvic organ prolapse, and male prostate-related bladder control problems. Intervention skills will include scientifically dosed therapeutic exercise for pelvic floor muscle training, behavioral interventions, sEMG perineal biofeedback, pressure biofeedback, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and manual therapy.
